Special Privileges Given to Umrah Pilgrims Having Special Needs

Embarking on a highly religious act of Umrah is said to be a once in a lifetime opportunity. This seems like a religious zeal and passion to satiate one’s inner desire to be at the monumental Grand Mosque, roam around in the state of Ihram, enjoy Iftar meals (If travelled during Ramadan period), and exploring all the sacred places of Makkah and Madinah.

The same set of desires are also shared by Muslims pilgrims having special needs or having some sort of disability. Now, to embrace the sacred feeling of such sections of pilgrims Saudi Government authorities has made a special move to provide special services and necessary assistance to such individuals suffering from any kind of disability and still perform the holy act of Umrah.

So, be it like they have booked Umrah budget package or Umrah luxury package, the service is same for all in terms of providing interpreters and sign language professionals in order to communicate freely during the pilgrimage.

The latest example of this can be seen in a way a recent group of 20 pilgrims were given unique set of assistance who were accompanied by 12 volunteers in order to provide necessary help. On top of that, gifts are also distributed among them to salute their zeal and passion to perform the sacred act of Umrah and possess that feeling to pray at the most influential place on earth.
